The Shoulder Strap and Tabs

1. Center the shoulder strap and tab strap interfacing strips on the wrong side of the corresponding shoulder strap and tab strap fabric strips. Fuse in place.

2. Fold the strips in half, aligning the long edges and pin in place.

3. Using a ¼˝ seam allowance, sew along the pinned edge, leaving a 2˝ opening in the middle of the shoulder strap length.

4. Lay the tubes on the ironing board with the seam on top and press the seams open. You can do this with a small iron, the tip of a regular iron, or a bone folder.

5. On the shoulder strap, with the seam down the center, pin and sew the short ends closed using a ¼˝ seam allowance. Trim the corners. Figure A
